I've spoken to all my close friends, as well as a few family members about this topic. With a sample size of 12, how much they had been subject to violence by people they couldn't fight back against seemed to directly correlate with how willing they were to kill someone if needed. How empathetic the person was barely seemed to effect this, even if you would intuitively think otherwise. Not that I wrote things down or crunched numbers, I just like to think about things with a scientific mind if I can.

The more they had been beaten, the more emotionally ready to kill, basically. That's my hypothesis, anyway.

However I try to phrase explaining how I personally feel on the matter I feel like an edgelord who is trying to brag, so I'm gonna leave that out. But know if you feel like you simply couldn't kill someone, you aren't alone. It's a natural feeling, I suspect the majority of people feel similarly. Even a lot of chuds will search for excuses to keep the weapon they carry not ready because they don't want to kill anyone and don't wanna admit it.
