Coyote protecting native small mammal and bird populations
coyotes very much do not protect small mammals. but native small mammals can handle coyotes
Without predators, herbivore populations grow beyond the carrying capacity of the habitat and starve to death- the problem with wild horses in the US. Without higher level predators, the lower level ones over-feed. They also feed on the weak members of the populations which suppresses disease and helps their gene pool. By existing they disrupt population movements and force those animals to feed in different areas which lets the land recover. That's protection on a macro scale.
Ancient cultures were right to worship apex predators as gods and give offerings to them

That’s a puppy and no one can tell me different
The funny thing is most wolves and coyotes in :amerikkka: have interbred with domesticated dogs so you're not even wrong
Years ago before she died, my dog's only friend she made at the dog park was a coydog
It's really upsetting this guy keeps killing his cats like this...
I love cats but the coyotes are hungry and they need to eat
Yes but he becomes responsible for limiting cat suffering once he adopts one. It's not the coyote or the cat in the wrong, this guy is a moron exposing cats tk unnecessary suffering.
:100-com:
Same with farmers or ranchers who complain about wolves and coyotes, it their job to protect their animals and they have no grounds to complain about the consequences of sucking at their job
Honestly, if your only problem is coyotes we should just have a program to help farmers buy llamas/guanacos. They'll stomp a coyote and are good at keeping them at bay.
Look, I throw the
