I've been really liking it other than the amount of whedon humour, really wish stuff could just take itself seriously, like I know that fantasy can be goofy I don't need every character telling me that as well.

I've been watching it, it's alright. For some reason the whole 'chosen one must travel to a far away destination with a thrown-together band to defeat the ultimate evil' is bothering me with this particular fantasy series. It's the default fantasy setting these days so it shouldn't annoy me so much with Willow specifically, but it is.
Back in The Day, I think the appeal of Willow was that it WAS such a generic fantasy setting, in a big-budget media production, which was unusual at the time. Nowadays there's so much generic fantasy media that the only appeal specific to the setting is that it reminds us of how we felt the first time we saw it, but otherwise it's your standard prestige TV show.
Which isn't such a bad thing, because prestige TV has cracked the secret of making almost every show a 7/10 at worst. But there are so many 7/10 TV shows competing for our attention, and so many sequels/reboots/adaptations of every piece of media from our childhoods, that there's nothing to elevate Willow beyond the rest of it.
Damn, i think you nailed it. That makes perfect sense.
Thank you, it makes me feel better when I can get a point across.
I'm watching it too. And I also would describe it as "alright."
