So long as there is labour to be done, there would be some people who would have to work night shifts, so somebody's getting fucked sleep regardless.
some people would be glad to work the nightshift or the early mornings. i have a sleep disorder and getting up in the morning is hell on earth and can never sleep before about 6/7am no matter how early i had to get up. under capitalist bullshit, work is distrubuted in such a way that generates maximum profit with no care for the wellbeing of the worker, but under communism, who knows? maybe we could actually distribute work in such a way that gives a shit about workers' health.
given the choice i'd take a nightshift in a split second, but fuck me, i gotta work in my prime sleep hours because capitalist workplaces aren't democratic and i get absolutely no say over my job. its work whatevers available in whatever times available or starve. capitalism delenda est
But drinking too much makes me feel good. Does inhibit my productivity at reading theory after getting off of work though. And I only use Twitter and social media when drunk. And it does take a lot of money... Maybe I should stop drinking.

There's definitely some truth to that. Capitalism is a source of stress, but it isn't the only source of stress.
