They’re both racist conservatives lol. My brother is even a Reaganite even though he never lived through his presidency. ( I feel like it’s one thing to be a fan of historical figures you’ve never lived under like :lenin-sure: but Reagan is a modern figure lol).

    I knew someone who supported Azerbaijan in the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia because

    Him: "I don't like Armenians because this Armenian secretary was a complete bitch."

    Context: The Armenian secretary was a coworker at a place he worked at 2 decades ago and he doesn't live anywhere close to the Armenian diaspora for Armenians to have any meaningful impact in his life.

    Me: "Uh, you do know that Azerbaijan is a Muslim country, right?"

    Context: He's also a massive Islamophobe.

    Him: Pregnant pause as the wolf named "Islamophobia" struggles against the wolf named "personal vendetta against some low-paying coworker from 2 decades ago" before the second wolf winning out.

    Him: "Yeah, but she was a complete bitch, so fuck 'em."
