yeah, i have only ever heard that once they incubate and first symptoms appear, time to fatality is measured in months. so kinda more like an unknown number of people have cortex bombs set for a random interval between 5 and 60 years, than the long emergency of a bunch of agitated and emotionally disregulated elderly people slowly losing their grip on reality.
