If you don't know what it is: Middle-aged Canadian man who believes in Bigfoot is dropped alone in various wildernesses from anywhere from 5 to 10 days and must survive. He films himself the entire time, starts with minimal to no supplies and has to provide food, water and shelter for himself.
It's basically a more legit Man Vs. Wild before Man Vs. Wild (Beat it by about a year), and ran for 8 seasons of 1 hour episodes.
If you wanna watch, Les Stroud (The eponymous Survivorman) has a Youtube channel and has uploaded seemingly the entire series there over the years for free: https://www.youtube.com/@SurvivormanLesStroud/featured
I think theres also one where he finds a highway and simply hitchhikes outta there.
Oh, that's actually the exact one I'm on rn. haha
Not too spoiled tho, he did set up in a line that there may be abandoned cabins around.
Ive known Les Stroud for years. Great guy, and a fun show.
Oh man I remember watching this show as a kid, always preferred it to Bear Gryll's highly edited monstrosity
This show is dope AF. Les is a legend. He makes eco music now too.
Is this the guy that drinks his own piss or was that a different guy
That's Bear Grylls (I know right?) He was on at the same time doing the same thing but faked. Les did it for real and was acrually by himself. He did survival and dragged camera and audio gear aroind and set up shots and all that at the same time
