Never let the muzzle point at anything that you are not willing to destroy.

my gun is on my back and the mount has gimbal stops to prevent this kind of incident but i've never really understood how meatbags can holster with one in the chamber and follow this rule

I re-check my piece after ever single time it leaves my hands, even if it's just been sitting on the counter with me staring at it since being put down. Never know when the Ammo Fairy came and put one in the pipe.

How many gun girl grifters does the right have at this point? They're all bad copycats of our original poopy pants diaper girl.

lmao what kind of nutbar even has a gun in position to shoot themselves in the foot when (presumably) they're in their own home, just watching TV? And WHY would they have a round in the chamber in that situation?

Apparently she NDed while trying to draw to shoot a bobcat that was attacking her dog in her yard. https://nitter.1d4.us/heckyessica/status/1612886455273066497

When something other than your booger hook hits the bang switch, or when your booger hook hits the bang switch but you didn't want it to.

Most common way to shoot yourself in the foot is to draw your gun, do what needs doing, then fuck up royally when trying to put it back in the holster; either some loose clothing winds up inside the trigger guard, our your finger wasn't as out of there as you thought it was. Said item gets stuck on the holster, and yanks the trigger, firing a gun that was pointed pretty much directly at your foot.

Second most common is fucking up royally on the draw itself, and putting your finger on the trigger before the gun is pointed in the intended direction. This was/is extremely common with the Blackhawk SERPA holster, which uses a lock that is toggled by the trigger finger, exactly where the trigger is, by design.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of someone taking "shooting themselves in the foot" so literally

    From the comments:

    Some guy:Cats are evil

    Trigger Disclipline O'Donnel: They are!

Context is apparently she ND'd while trying to shoot a bobcat in her backyard, but it's just so on-brand for a rightwinger to have one encounter with something, fuck it up royally all by themselves, and then cry about how the thing is evil and they barely survived. Stunted toddlers. This is what very young children do.

In fairness if I was a TCU fan I'd probably also want to shoot myself in the foot watching that game.

Why college football specifically? Because they’re still mad at Kaep? Don’t most right wingers thing CFB is for sissies because they take head injury protocol even somewhat seriously?

A common sentiment I've heard in defense of college/HS spectator sport events is that

"they're playing for their future and career, the stakes are higher so they play harder." :grillman:

          yea

TBH the "play hard" sentiment just gives me "But if it's not a fight to the death the gladiator's wouldn't even try!" vibes but I've always been kinda weird about sports. I think they're great important and fun but I think the spactacle of them is uh worth discussing to be polite.

Probably that and I think college football is more popular in several chud Meccas like Alabama and Mississippi, and still massively popular in Texas, Georgia, and Florida.
