I do care about the 60+ UA lives under me. And I'll do everything to keep them alive.

I will still deploy with my unit and order my guys to deploy as well.

I guess he's working under a different definition of "everything". Man, army-brain really is a whole thing, "yeah, the military's totally corrupt and incompetent... I mean, I'll still go and fucking die for them (and order the men I supposedly really care about to also die), but I'll die having tweeted about how bad they are".

Also "we have no heavy weapons", any soldier born after 1980 can't fight, all they know is call in air-strike, hide behind tank, murder civilian, eat MRE and lie.

:grillman: back in my day, we didn't have heavy weapons, we just used to collect all the burly tall guys into a special tall guy regiment and send them up the hill with bayonets and shovels to beat the shit out of the other side

What do they even need heavy weapons for? Every news outlets was screeching for the longest time about how bad Russian hardware is and how putin is running out of tanks and planes

No need. Liberals are so zelenskyy-brained they think anyone who expresses anything but full support for Ukraine is a Russian bot.

According to liberals and little shit neo-fascist chuds Ukraine is a perfect darling angelic country with literally zero problems and if you point that out you're Putin adjacent.

Better, I've seen a lot of liberals who say "This may be true, but by pointing it out you're playing into Putin's hands"

If the truth is propaganda for the enemy, maybe you're on the wrong side of the conflict :joker-troll:

I think the truth is more depressing. They're fine with supporting Nazis, they just won't be honest about it. Hanlon's Razor hit its limit about 20 swastikas ago.

They really do be thinking Ukraine is some sort of democratic utopia in eastern europe and not a fascist hellhole which was laughably corrupt and running pogroms on it's russian civilians before the war.

I want that to be a campaign in a Call of Duty-type game. For 90% of it you're in a gamer cave browsing reddit. Once you get 5000 karma from saying enough slurs, your rage meter maxes out and you reach the gym level behind the gaming chair. Now you have to do four pushups and stretch. After you're physically fit, there's a cool maze level where you've never left your hometown and now you have to navigate airports. NPCs speak other languages without subtitles and you have to max out your rage meter trying to order McDonalds in Poland. Finally you cross the border and you're one mission away from the boss, Vladihitler Pussolini himself.

Midway through the scene where you meet another soldier for the first time, a cruise missile hits the barracks and everyone dies. The only actual gun in the entire game belongs to airport security.

It's literally a psyop so don't let it get to your head too much. That's how they win

Yeah it gets exhausting trying to rationalize NAFO based on real, human emotions. Since its one of those rare things whose aesthetic, messaging and internal logic is entirely written with ppl like us in mind, but the one and only purpose is to make you mad. It serves basically no other use.

Best approach is prob to realize its dumb absurdity first, try to stay as far back from it as possible, and see if it still has any effects from a distance or just looks like an embarrassing viral flashmob in a permanent death spiral. If you engage with it, go meta and criticize the overall trend as a psyop instead of the content of certain posts (often intended to lure you into debates over hyperspecific policies and irrelevant history, then hit you with trick questions). Its a start

That person posting Azov-chan in the mentions at least had the foresight to sensor the swastika, so these people aren't braindead. How do they not get that this country that has been all over tax haven paper releases is corrupt? I do not understand their mindset at all.
