James Cameron says steal weapons from the US military and use them to fight for indigenous rights

I will not be responding to any haters and losers who don't like the film because theyve confused leftism with being a miserable contrarian

Why do people have strong opinions about Avatar? It doesn't seem like a movie worth having strong opinions about.

Because its exciting to see a big box office film that has real vision behind it when theres really been nothing but marvel schlock for the past 2 decades. Its fun to enjoy things and get excited about them with other people who enjoy them.

Idk why avatar haters are always malding about it. Most I assume just want to be contrarian about whatever is popular.

The whole "there are no memes therefore no cultural impact" thing is so wild. There are a bunch of avatar memes and they're hilarious.

We can only have one movie where the bad guys are burning down trees for capitalism. A million and one mafia/war/super hero flicks? No problem.

I think this was also my favorite thing about Dune. People were posting stuff like "Dune rocked. The movies are back" with replies like "Frankly, it's discomforting that something good has happened" and it sort of elevated the whole experience

Thinking that a movie doesnt deserve having strong opinions over is a pretty strong opinion about said movie
