I listened to Pete Seeger and he says if he doesn't get it, he'd die, which I am not a fan of.
Also how do we not have a /c/drugs?
Don’t worry about the “it’s all made by one distillery so it’s All the same” discourse.
Almost all the brands contract their production to a distillery on a limestone spring, which is what you need to make rye.
They’re not all the same though, grain bill, process, cuts and aging make such a significant difference.
If you like ginger ale, try a ginger highball. My go-to is a zero sugar ginger highball.
One time I went to a Halloween party with some friends and we brought the three-bottle case of Bulleit bought from the distillery and we fucking dropped it on the sidewalk right in front of the house

No. Pete Seeger said if he was a duck he'd swim in it and who am I to object to this?
I'll second the Rittenhouse and Bulleit. If you're trying to spend some $$$, High West makes some good shit, as does Whistle Pig. Cedar Ridge makes my favorite rye (it uses malted rye), but idk how widely distributed it is. I like Sazerac as well. Old Overholt is decent for its low price. Don't buy a blended Canadian whiskey no matter what!
Rye is good straight. If you are looking for a cocktail, the Sazerac is my all time favorite.
Old overholt is my home well rye. I have. The uhh high west one for not mixing.
+1 to Bulleit. I can usually find a reasonably priced handle at Costco too
Knob Creek is my favorite go-to whiskey of any kind. Bulleit is good too. Currently I'm drinking Elijah Craig and it's aight.
If you're new to sipping whiskey, ease yourself in with an old fashioned, a Manhattan, or a Sazerac.
Afraid not, but if you want to help support free healthcare and education for 11.5 million people then I recommend you buy Havana Club :fidel-bat:
... unless you live in the USA of course, in which case you'd be buying knockoff counter-revolutionary booze, and nobody wants that.
