Every one of these "production shell companies" that Thiel and them finance each have a marketing budget. That budget goes to click farms and they don't just promote the project, they drive engagement by pissing people off and everyone keeps falling for the fake negativity.

Ya'll don't have to be weird, aggressive and insincere anymore. Just say thinkgs that you really care about and we'll actually get workers rights reforms and honest management of public goods.

I left my wallet at my bodega. got it back with cash in it. I lady I never met before and never will kindly demanded I get rung out before her even though I got out of the line to find something at the grocery store. If you stop letting twitter set the tone for your life, you'll see how you're surrounded by kindness.

Stop getting angry over fake comments and start feeling optimist that most of us are actually nice people when we're not on the internet.

holy shit man, does seeing optimism really making you this mad/scared? I can't understand why you'd feel that way.

You're forgetting all the progress and success Bernie had because after fighting to the door, they slammed it shut on us. But that doesn't mean why have to turn around and walk away. We don't have to "go back a few steps" just because they didn't roll out the red carpet.

Why is this community obsessed with the "no" we got at the end instead of the thousands of "yes's" we got along the way?

People actually want healthcare and workers rights but without Michael Brooks, the popular left are angry kids who hate building.

This isn't optimism it's fantasy. You can't manifest reality through thought. Take your own advice and stop taking shitposting on the internet seriously.

Not on a forum post, buddy. They're literally exactly the same.

Why are you my comments angering you? I really don't get it. "People are being paid to be mean on the internet so lets not pretend that 'troll posters' believe any of what they're saying".

That's the entire point. This community thinks its anti-marketing and anti-consumerism but really its pure marketing and consumerism. It doesn't seem like this forum has any appreciation for new ideas or trying something different. Why would you be scared or angered by the implication that maybe we should rethink our methods? I do it all the time. I question stuff and it helps me come up with better ideas:

Question why you this community is so angry about everything and then try to solve that.

What makes you think your comments anger me?

You mean like voting for Biden?

Do you do any activism or organizing outside of this shitposting forum?

Do you do any activism or organizing outside of this shitposting forum?

Ya, its harder and harder to find a meaningful amount of time to actually protest and organize with work picking back up but it's real easy to fire off a bunch of comments or tweets over my morning coffee.

I think there's this weird false dicohotomy where we're supposed to pretend that every single post/comment is the entirety of the context for an action or decision. For some reason you can't imagine me sitting in my boxers with my feet up on my desk and drinking my morning coffee BEFORE I start my day. This isn't "my whole day" anymore than its yours. Why talk like it is? This is posting, organizing is something else.
