I remember as a kid I really loved watching F1 thanks to my father who has always been a fan (fuck current F1 though, I would rather watch the sun slowly torch my corneas), had small toy F1 cars I would play with all day, would collect any posters, stickers and pictures of pilots and cars I could get my hand on, etc. I also remember the day my father told me in no uncertain terms that we were too poor and they could never get me started on motorsports.
