Wolfenstein is amazing because at no point is the humanity of the Nazis brought up nor is sympathy requested by the player. Every single Nazi is portrayed as disgusting scum who deserves extreme violence done to them. You're only asked to sympathize with traitors to the Nazi cause, or maybe the dogs they butchered into cyborg monstrosities. Anyone wearing a Nazi uniform (not as a disguise) is a target who deserves to be liquified with your pewpew laser gun.

It's good. The writers seem like good folk.

It would be great if you have to fight a Nazi sleeper cell and you just kill you way through skin head gangs and chud malitias till you find them.

Running the Wolfenstein account must be a blast tbh I'd run that account for free.

shit, it's not even controversial, it's when their extremist beliefs are in any way not coddled and propped up for 5 seconds. "Waah waah stop being so pOliTIcaL! I hate when people are even mildly critical of literal nazis or am reminded that people other than cishet christian white men exist! Every aspect of society must cater to me and my nazi beliefs!"

They really became the very thing they sought to destroy. This is "I'm OFFENDED" for racists

Edit: But the thing is part of the pipeline for someone to become racist on the internet is because of woke Karens being offended!

I've always felt that the wokies keep blaming the Nazis for everything wrong in their lives, and most of the older wolfenstein games were nothing more than just lots of SJW pandering (I mean heck, the new youngblood game is a woke mess). But wolfenstein 2: the new colossus? Now there's where they finally stopped kowtowing to the wokies and and truly became based and redpilled. You weren't just taking down Nazis, they instead balanced the politics and showed the folly of both sides: you weren't just thrashing the Nazis, you were also taking down the KKKlan, America's two poltical positions and the real edges of the Overton window.

Youngblood just went back to the same old recipe of killing Nazis; I mean it was fine, but I can't shake the feeling that they're just worried that if you they include fighting the KKKlan they'll offend the libs.

The entire firefighter disguise segment is exactly the kick in the ass we needed. The Nazi-conquered America we saw in The New Colossus was merely a slightly more honest America.

    It is simple.

Political stuff that I like and/or agree with: not political.

Political stuff that I dislike: why so political!

I was told, once, that fucking Starship Troopers (the fascist book, not the satire-intended movie that's generally loved by fascists) was nonpolitical. :agony-4horsemen:
