It's a shame this will probably lead to defederation, although I understand why it's necessary. I'll have to make a second account for piracy content.

Expect this shit from anyone who defeds lemmygrad apparently. Seems to be the most reliable indicator. kim-drip owned

i don't know why anyone would defed from one but not both of us. I guess ideologically anarchist communities, but if they're chill with our left-unity don't shit on AES thing then i'd think they'd be fine with grad too.

they'd probably defed with grad then because of the possibility of gradders dunking on them for just being anarchists, which would be very annoying after a while

I don't, why after having slapfight about one (1) deleted post (jesus christ), mods have to burn all bridges

This has not been a single post. This has been an ongoing issue, and if you look at the thread that just went up for defederation you can see why. I agree that dm harassment from an admin and unruffled's behavior in general are fundamentally incompatible with our community.

If we have to site ban an admin of an instance for dm harassment we should not be federated with that instance. Simple as.

Its not like they come to us to start shit though, pardon my language but its not exactly laudable goal to discuss how great we are between ourselves

The most recent thing came about literally because the admin came in here to scold us for laughing at them saying 'tankie' in the most broad term possible. db0 users are pretty chill, but the admin absolutely loves to poke it's nose into areas where they will get stung, then be surprised and angry about it.

Hey, I picked dbzer0 specifically because they were federated with hexbear. I am pretty sure a good chunk of dbzer0 would hop to some other site if defederation happened.

Just because I don't post doesn't mean I'm not here!

I have since changed my position since it has gone up to vote. Banning the dumbass admins and staying federated because we do like the majority of yall is the funniest and most productive option.

It was defintely not "just one" deleted post. The anti-tankie crusade has been escallating for a while and that type of pettyness is normal now. I didn't expect that this would happen so soon but if its getting difficult for us to interact with dbzero without getting mccarythed it makes sense to just pull the plug.

They love Chomsky yet he literally writes books and works with "tankies" these days they really are just completely controlled by whatever position the US state dept has on anything. This group of anticommunists don't even realise that they're right of Chomsky these days.

Yep I agree, but I have been in the defed camp since almost day one. I am glad those fuckers finally outed themselves and I hope that some of the cool folks see the defederation thread so we can onboard them.

That's why I'm on .ml because I can block all of .world or db0 if I want to but don't lose out on communities like Hexbear or the Grad (though I still got banned from noncredible defense just by association lol). Totally understandable if folks don't want to tolerate any of it though.

Actually it looks like momentum is on the side of "It's funny to remain federated while banning the admins" so unless your admins pull out I think we'll remain federated?

it's looking like it's going to happen... context

it's not easy to stay federated when it's the mod and admins behaving badly as they shape the userbase and decide what to foster.
