In case anyone's curious why I'm not just starting the channel now, I want to have a backlog of content so I have a little bit of cushion.

Anyway, wish me luck, it's gonna be tough keeping up with a daily upload schedule, but I think I can do it.

I've got lists of tons of video ideas, but I'm always open to new ones, so feel free to share. And if you have any feedback or criticism of the video/format then I'd be glad to hear it, it's not too late to make some changes to future videos.

Cheers, and thanks for watching <3

Unless you are shit posting on youtube, or just uploading stream of consciousness lets plays, "daily" is a very hard schedule to keep (many lets players even succumb to the grind, though to be fair many of them release 2-3 videos daily).

Yeah I am a bit worried about burnout too, I'm going to be doing a trial run to see what kind of pace I can reasonably keep up. If daily uploads don't seem sustainable then I'll dial it back to 4 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)

The process is pretty streamlined though: I have a bunch of ideas for topics already, so I can just whip them into a script (I usually have a general outline in my head to begin with) and then record them. And I think the averave length of my videos is most likely going to be around 3 minutes. I could probably make a good quality video from scratch in half an hour right now if I tried to do it quickly. But yeah I want to see if I can comfortably do two in a day, that would be ideal because I could build up a hefty backlog while still putting out a video daily. We'll see how it goes though!

Anyway, thanks for your input, comrade :)

Months of prep with a mic like this? Your audio should be your first priority, you can make fantastic videos but with audio like this no one will watch.

Buy a better USB mic. This currently is very muffled and hard to even understand.

Fair enough, I appreciate the feedback I suppose. I've listened to it in various ways, and it sounds a bit different on everything. Honestly it sounds great on my phone speakers, sounds good on most of my pairs of headphones, and it does sound a little bit muffled, muddy and bassy on one or two pairs of headphones.

I'm a brokeboi right now and my computer isn't even working, I'm doing this all on a phone. I tried out all of my headphone mics and found which one has the best quality, if you think this sounds bad then you should hear some of the original recordings I made directly into my phone's mic!

Anyway, I'll see if I can rebalance the EQ a bit so it sounds better on every listening set-up. I guess hopefully most people end up listening on their phone speakers since I think that's where it sounds best.

PS: you're a bourgeois lib for expecting good sound quality :P
