I find it difficult to give anarchists any benefit of the doubt when their worldview literally lines up with the worldview the average american citizen held during the Red Scare, and refuses to acknowledge it or even discuss it without devolving into accusations of Red Fascism

Also links 1 and 2 showed me that some anarchists don't want to vote for Joe Biden after he trash talked you guys, so I guess that's nice, but it seems to me that if he didn't say anything about anarchists but held the exact same political beliefs you'd all be rallying around him

Link 3 literally calls China state capitalism, so I guess good on you for opposing war with China? Not one of my accusations but honestly good to know, some anarchists I've seen unironically advocate nuking China to free the Uighurs

I'm not going to argue with you, because the caricature you're portraying doesn't exist. I'm an anarchist, I spend a lot of time in anarchist spaces both online and offline, and the vast majority of anarchists don't agree with anything you're saying. Anarchists are against all wars, so no supporting war with China. Anarchists are against all states, so no supporting the US. Anarchists are often, but not always, against electoralism, so the idea that we overwhelmingly support Joe Biden is strange to say the least.

The fact is you're wrong about anarchists. And it's really too bad, because you'd find the reality to be a lot more tolerable than you think. I hope one day you come around and see that we're not the enemy. ❤️

There's a reason I made it a point to differentiate from anarchists and online anarchists. I haven't met any anarchists in real life, so the only exposure I get is online, and holy shit the people who call themselves anarchists are insufferable. I'm sure they don't actually represent anarchist ideology, but "real" anarchists never call them out when they support neoliberal interventionism, or when they justify attacking MLs when said MLs are in the middle of a conflict with capitalists/monarchists. In contrast to MLs, who will call each other out on a bad take.

I actually don't have a preference, as I'm an anticapitalist, and am willing to bring about communism in whichever way will work. But I actually cannot and will not side with people who uncritically cite Adrian Zenz or other state media (and these people often stop arguing the moment that man is brought up, and instead resort to dogpiling in order to suppress any real discussion)

This is exactly why I said you should visit some anarchist spaces. You'll learn a lot and see that real life anarchists are good people with good values.

I don't doubt that. Pretty sure enough of them will tell me to fuck off though when I tell them that I don't mind siding with MLs (or tankies, which apparently is every single ML or ML-adjacent person)

Did I tell you to fuck off? We're not the people you think we are. They'll probably recommend some anti-ML theory, though!
