It has 10 members there, as of 8 hours ago. Right now I see 55 members with 6.7M views. The replies seem to be a collection of grifters and MAGA hogs, with one of them posted 8 hours ago doing a crypto scam as Tesla. I saw one self-described engineer in the group but she seems to work for a corporate efficiency app thing.

The supercharger network is the one thing of actual value that Tesla has.

where next to deploy new Superchargers

I hope this ends up like that vote that had Pitbull perform in bum fuck nowhere, Alaska.

IIRC he actually played there too and was a good sport about it.

On the other hand, Taylor Swift continues to refuse to play in North Korea.

So far the suggestions have been "Southeast Asia" and "rural Canada". I like to imagine these are going on a powerpoint that he's going to seriously read at some kind of meeting. None of them seem to have a degree in statistics or whatever $5 city maths discipline would go into a problem like planning a global network of refueling points with complex generator needs.

One recent video I saw, I think from Internet Today, mentioned that a huge problem with the charging network is that luddite heroes are liberating the copper wiring from the cables.

I imagine that but across the bulk of Canada, each one having to be repaired by a Tesla technician who probably no longer exists.

If it's anything like the way reddit uses mods, he's recruiting a jar full of random poison pills. They're willing to do what they think is labour because they think they're one step closer to the lord speaking to them directly but I don't think any of them could get an interview for the old team. This group even includes that weird Elon parody account that's so cringe that it has to be his sockpuppet, so he's scraping the bottom of the barrel to find anyone who will have any engagement with it. If my account didn't have an overtly communist name I'd sign up just to see if I could draw a penis with supercharger location requests.

Just when other major companies were set to adopt the standard based on Tesla’s supercharger they manage to absolutely fuck everything up.

I think the dude finally hit his limit after getting other people on board. "Oh thank god I finally no longer have to have a single load bearing good thing holding up my bad decisions. All grifts, all bad ideas from here on out! Someone else will prop me up just like in everything else!"

It's join by request right now. They've gone up to 84 members in the past few hours and I only see one of them claiming to be an actual engineer in a relevant subfield.

edit: Oh cool, one of the first two mods is just some random white supremacist nurse: https://twitter.com/GailAlfarATX/bio
