    yeah probably nobody who would benefit from bringing this event up in a year will bring it up for easy political capital or to hit back on some convoluted lib narrative. I mean, we all know material assistance doesn't drive political projects. yes, we can safely say this latest own-goal by the Dems will not come back to haunt them the way any of the others have.

      I really don't think this is gonna be what wins Trump the election over Biden. Odds are the last month or so before Election Day is going to be what decides it. If the economy's still doing okay enough for enough people, he'll likely win again imo.

      Hell, even if it isn't that might not be enough to take Joe down: Everyone was expecting the Dems to get creamed in the midterms due to inflation, but after all was said and done they still had the senate and only lost the House by single digits.

      but realistically speaking, this single blunder won't be particularly meaningful in the long list of own-goals they'll score in the next 2 years
