Easiest political move of all time and Biden and Boot Edge Edge missed it after 2 weeks.

It's not Biden's fault. He just assumed "East Palestine railroad incident" was just another IDF bombing and didn't think he needed to address that since he usually doesn't

I just checked and it's been a red state these past two elections, so they probably didn't respond because it isn't part of the critical states needed to win until it became a huge press crisis. I think Trump will bring this up on the debates regardless.

By a solid margin too (8% in 2020), so the dems probably consider it a lost cause at the moment

If we're being a cold and calculating Democrat strategist: Ohio was already solidly pro-Trump even before this (He won there in both 2016 and 2020 by comfortable margins), so odds are Biden and the Dems aren't really "losing" anything from this exchange.

They might as well not tbh.

If we're being real: This is gonna be long-forgotten by most come November 2024, and the people who do aren't going to be enough to sway the election one way or the other. Odds are if they voted red before they'll still vote red, and if they voted blue before they'll still vote blue, but most of all: If they didn't vote at all, this probably isn't going to push them to.

yeah probably nobody who would benefit from bringing this event up in a year will bring it up for easy political capital or to hit back on some convoluted lib narrative. I mean, we all know material assistance doesn't drive political projects. yes, we can safely say this latest own-goal by the Dems will not come back to haunt them the way any of the others have.

I really don't think this is gonna be what wins Trump the election over Biden. Odds are the last month or so before Election Day is going to be what decides it. If the economy's still doing okay enough for enough people, he'll likely win again imo.

Hell, even if it isn't that might not be enough to take Joe down: Everyone was expecting the Dems to get creamed in the midterms due to inflation, but after all was said and done they still had the senate and only lost the House by single digits.

yes, we can safely say this latest own-goal by the Dems will not come back to haunt them the way any of the others have.

but realistically speaking, this single blunder won't be particularly meaningful in the long list of own-goals they'll score in the next 2 years

Only chud channels but this will be in favor for Trump as he can pull this and so many other cards against republican contenders during the eventual debates. Looking forward to Trump asking Desantis "where were you when East Palestine cried out for aide?". Right now feels like a solid bet that Trump is getting the GOP nomination cuss of this stunt.

The $50 Trump spent buying burgers but being somewhat timely in making a public appearance in East Palestine is worth about $50 million in advertising that the democrats will try to do during the next election cycle and still lose in ohio. It’s literally so easy to just pretend you give a fuck about the working class

He was probably buying a big mac for himself and some people followed him and he needed a quick way of shooing them away

also, the beginning of the video where he extends his arms out to "push" the SS agents as if he's annoyed they're blocking his way lmao

    from CNN:

Trump also said he had helped coordinate the delivery of thousands of water bottles to the area – some with “Trump” logos on them, coming from the former president’s hotel properties. He said some of the water had come on the plane he had flown from Florida on Wednesday.

I've seen libs complaining that Trump is an egomaniac or that he "didn't do anything." It's all true, but like the stimulus check, his name is on it and people associate it with him. Some people are dumb and think it came out of his own pocket, but realistically people just know their material circumstances are slightly improved by whatever trump branded product is given to them at the moment while Biden is in Ukraine

It takes trump soundbites on over 2200 clips. I just put the first part in and the AI had to fill in on [workers] because it couldn't find a clip of the word.

:a-little-trolling: These reporters keep coming up to me and asking "Comrade Trump, what do you think about Gorbachev?

Well I’d have to say he’s a real loser. He made a big mistake folks- huge!- a big mistake. He thought he could out-pizza the Hut. Can you believe that?

Oh the Russians payed for it dearly. DOWN went the flag of the people and UP went the flag of the traitors. Now they have Putin- and I hear you saying he’s a good leader, yes, and you have your points- but you’re WRONG.

Now Stalin- and CNN is going to be very mad at me about this- that’s a great man, a man you can depend on- he’s not like those lousy Democrats, those do-nothings that lounge around all day- he did something- and you know what that’s a great big beautiful flag flying over Berlin, in that old picture, you know. The working class, they take these hammers and they use them to make stuff: Bing! Bing! Goes the hammer of the workers. And the sickle- well I don’t need to tell you how great it is, you’ve been eating- well you know it’s great bread.

And the bread came from those Kulaks, those terrible kulaks, who thought they could- they thought they could just burn those fields and Stalin wouldn’t do anything about it. Well guess what: he did! And you’ll hear the lying fake news media say that they were innocent- let me tell you folks, they deserved it. They deserved it!
