Still having a hard time understanding the supposed "middle ground" between things like lgbtqia rights, abortion, healthcare etc...

LGBTQIA Rights: They can live as barely tolerated second-class citizens so long as they're not open about their identities.
      Abortion: For rich people, discreetly
Healthcare: For as long as you can run on the hamster wheel, provided you're running on the hamster wheel in the right way

See, compromise is easy, and just remember: if both sides are angry with you, it's because you're doing things right like a pusillanimous invertebrate who deserves universal contempt

I don't know why they can't just admit that to themselves. Like, how can they say they're for all this progressive stuff and also happy with the results of their chosen leaders otherwise?

I guess quotes like "when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time" only matters when cheeto-man is in the white house.

If thirteen year old me could reason out that democrats don't stop wrongdoing from republicans because then they would have to be subject to their same rules, how can grown adults not pay enough attention to notice?

If the elections were marvel movies, the libs would be bored because the good guys aren't catching the bad guys.

I don't hate people I disagree with, given the opportunity I'll deal with them quickly and humanely!

It's okay to kill someone as long as you don't hate them?

idk if it was the same time this pic was taken but I was at this protest, not shown behind the camera are the crowds of ukraine & nato flag waving dipshits, and the extremely loudly mic'd "repent or perish" christofascists reading passages about the crucifixion.
