tl;dr: capeshit/MCU/nerds/streaming killed sex in movie theaters.
It's too bad that point missed the mark for a lot of chuds. I know some of those chuds personally... including those that had no economic pressure to sign on with the military but wanted to "kill some bugs" while citing that movie as their inspiration to do so. :doomer:
I don't think anyone got it in 1997. I think it was like 2006 when i first saw people being like "holy shit the dumb action movie was actually really smart!"
