      "Freedom" is my bugbear.

I watched half of this very creepy video yesterday - Inside the American Redoubt: Trump voters building a new state | Times Documentaries - YouTube. Half was all I could stomach.

One guy in particular was unbearable. He must have literally said "freedom" every ~20 seconds on average.

      American Redoubt

The American Redoubt is a political migration movement first proposed in 2011 by survivalist novelist and blogger James Wesley Rawles which designates Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming along with parts of Oregon and Washington, as a safe haven for conservative Christians. Rawles chose this area due to its low population density and lack of natural hazards.

I think the only English-speaking politician to use the word 'freedom' in good faith in my lifetime might be Nelson Mandela.

Rawles chose this area due to its [...] lack of natural hazards.

Be a shame if Yellowstone erupted on a day with strong easterly winds

I don't think wind direction would matter when they're sitting right on top of it, about a quarter of the lower 48 would just get fucked

After more murders and drug trafficking incidents start becoming uncovered at Fort Liberty, it will be renamed again and again. It's name will be ever shifting like an everyman suit. That way it can never develop a reputation as the place where american spec ops do acid and kill each other.

Fitting name for a place where soldiers have the liberty to abuse and traffic children, pretty on the nose though

Maybe we should do about the gaggle of coked up killers who can't stop sexually assaulting and murdering people?

No, let's just make their base slightly harder to google.

My ex was from a military family and so I've spent more time in Fayetteville than I'd like to recall. Every third building is a strip club and the townies all refer to the historic district as "the slave market" out of nostalgia. Even in the suburbs you still get the distinct feeling that you're about to get human trafficked.

Since Fort Bragg is Woke now, does that mean the Republicans will shut it down?
