Based off Hakim’s recommendation I just watched “Kidnapping, Caucasian style” it was wonderful. Musical numbers, Russian three stooges, and wonderful jokes like an anthropologist getting out of a drunk and disorderly because he studying toasts so it’s an industrial accident not a crime.
It has a mild CW: the kidnapping refers to bride kidnapping but it’s portrayed as criminal and corrupt. Ultimately there’s a happy ending, but thought I’d warn just in case.
I wish my local cops were that cool. "I'm sorry comrade, you took adapting to the local culture too far. Drink this water and remember to know your limits next time."
