I think it's confirmed that when Zelda transforms in to Sheik she gets a penis. I don't remember if there was a gender change involved.
Magical Genderswap LoZ where Link and Zelda have to swap bodies to solve puzzles or support each other would be neat, though. Like Link is good at swords stuff and Zelda is good at magic stuff, so if you need to do one or the other you can swap out.
That's what I thought but I did a quick google before that post and official word from Nintendo was that Sheik is still Zelda's original body. But then again they're a "family friendly" company (i.e. cowards) so idk what the more conservative answer they had to go with would be, cross dressing or gender swapping...

idk a lot of the early games were miserably difficult and therefore grindy in their own cynical ways back in the day. ie playing the OG Legend of Zelda without a guide in hand would probably not be very fun.
