Not gonna lie, it really is fucking pathetic how many aging millenials on this site are stuck in the past. Like people have moved on from 90s Simpsons and early 2000s era ebaumsworld comedy, or whatever the fuck
bad take people shouldn't be shamed for prefering the pop culture that they watched as a kid. It's harmless and could not matter less
Joke's on you. I am a millennial. It's my own generation that I see falling for this nostalgia bullshit. I made a post about a while back: https://hexbear.net/post/247679. TL;DR nostalgia brain is often the first step into reactionary/fascist tendencies from what I've observed (e.g. "things were better back in my day sonny boy!")
Yeah I saw that post and disagreed with it then. For young people to have their cultural space we need to not inject ourselves into the content made for and by them.
I am less familiar with the cartoons and movies aimed at young people because I have less free time available to watch cartoons and movies now and that's OK not everything needs to be for you. I'm more familiar with the music I grew up with than whatever now occupies the cultural niche the Jonas brothers used to fill and that's fine because that's just not music made for me as the target audience
I mean not to knock on HoChiMax, but he was denying that young men needing dating advice was a thing, until he realized he was wrong and made a post about how he is a well-adjusted, fit guy with a healthy partnership, family, and friend circle (I can't search far enough back for his post cuz of the 1 month limit on this site). So if he says something is "barely a thing" then I tend not to agree with him.
I don't think it's the "enjoying things from when you were young" part that's the problem, it's the "and that's why everything that the next generations like suck" part.
Yeah that is out of order. Part of getting older sensibly is realising that music for teenagers, is no longer for you and that star wars and superhero media being childrens movies if you as an adult see them and don't like them it's not a big deal.
Grown adults complaining about not liking the latest star wars films is like complaining that now your 30 you don't find peppa pig as entertaining as you did when you were 3

also it'll happen to you

Yes, 100 gecs is the artist. Music is 1000 gecs and 10000 gecs.
