I see zoomers aren't immune to the 'young people bad, loathe yourself' treatment that millennials used to get.

This people-pleasing, "I'm one of the good ones" desperation is a symptom of being raised by narcissists.

I believe the zoomers are calling them "pick mes" these days.

I would say if anything zoomers are more susceptible to it. Andrew Tate and related shitheads all have a direct line to young men and tell them "you suck and it's your fault, only I can fix it"

Isn't being open to "other Christian traditions" theological liberalism because you think your specific sect isn't good enough to stand on its own lol. Imagine going to church and saying to your priest "hey father, I think we should incorporate more of these Mormon teachings and traditions into our Catholic mass"

They're all heresies anyway, everything other than paleochristianity has been perverted by Rome, whether by emperors or popes.

Becoming a follower of the ancient version of the abrahamic god which was was totally cool with the idea that there are other gods out there all in the name of ideological purity

I was raised progressive and once a leftist, came to know the man who feeded the many, healed the sick, abhiroed corruption and advocated for separation of church and state.

Then I met supply side Jesus and dedicated my life since to learning the things of [endless greeed] because money is God. It's printed on every piece of currency we have. So with my new found faith I have been finding ever more creative ways to exploit others.

This dude is 16 at most. Whenever someone has a bio like this there is a very high chance they're under the age of 20. Once I argued with a "theocratic fascist" and then looked at his bio and he was 13 lol

Yeah, it's hard to keep perspective with these things online. Picture yourself having the same discussion IRL with a 13 year old, you just wouldn't bother or take it the same way. Kid will probably change his mind next month.

"the fact that i am at risk of seeing a 14 year old's opinion at any time of day on the internet is a human rights violation" - some tweet

For real though, no one should listen to anything a middle schooler has to say about stuff like this. I'm just glad the internet wasn't advanced enough for me to be so publicly cringe when I was that age

I saw the video that got picked up by the algorithm and got weird vibes from how angry he got when talking about "progressive" churches along with how there are liberal and conservative wings of each church. Nice for youtube to just promote casual hatred like they always do.

PCUSA is less chuddy than most American Christian groups at least. They're affirming of LGBT people, and I've seen a few actually good sermons from PCUSA pastors. One guy really went ham on some Vonnegut and LeGuin for instance. Not all good though, it's still Christianity in America.

      If they're American Christian, there's a 90% chance they're chuds.
