i don’t think i’ve ever seen a post this jaw droppingly bizarre, it deserves to be put in a posting hall of fame

i definitely don’t think this is a sincere apology (probably him wanting his good pr back, wanting to get his name back in the news, and/or maybe realized he went too hard but still holds some antisemitic views which is apparent given the third line) but it makes sense in a way. you can’t logic people like kanye out of their hateful views and that same goes for right wingers trolling online, bullies in school, etc., nothing rational will make them change their mind because their worldviews weren’t rational to begin with. but something as dumb as watching a funny movie with a jewish guy in it? maybe? idk, i definitely don’t think this is the end of this though i 100% guarantee he’ll say something wildly antisemitic within the next 6 months

I’m honestly not sure whether Kanye is cognizant enough to fake an apology right now, his brain has been melting for as long as I can remember. But it might also just be wishful thinking on my part

        maybe, i’m also not sure it’s 100% a fake apology but i don’t think it’s 100% sincere either

Unserious enough that the unseriousness seems deliberate, but serious enough that, later, when no one takes it seriously, he'll feel entitled to complain. Sort of like when Canadians apologize.
