Veteran reporter says she’s never seen protests with this kind of intensity and commitment in the decades she’s been covering France.

Watch the union leader clear the fog that the Politico shlub from some think tank literally called “Friends of Europe.” It’s a beautiful thing.

Shit is really ratcheting up.

And, apparently in Israel too! Damn, didn’t know a thing about that…

Fucking Twitter sucks so bad it’s unbelievable. The trending topics are a complete and utter farce, but have been for years and years now.

I hope this is good and they end up getting the goods, but the doomer boomer I am, having seen enough things happen, I feel like this is going to just fizzle out without any positive outcomes, only to fade back into obscurity as everyone just goes home and pats themselves on the back for a non-job well unfinished.

It'll lead France to ruin, the question is how many people get hurt before France is too weakened to lash out anymore?

      I hear ya.

Have had my hopes up high only to get heart broken on too many occasions to count.

Since Occupy there’s been quite a few. Some that I bet people might not even remember, and that I’ve forgotten . The Turkish Uprising of 2012(?), the Lebanese uprising in which people were showing up with Joker masks, the pre-George Floyd Uprising BLM rallies and protests, the many teachers strikes throughout the country, the airline stewardess proposed strike that got Trump to cave from withholding federal employer money, various S American massive protests, the Sri Lanka sacking of the president’s home, Yellow Vests, etc (what else am I forgetting ?).

It’s notable again that the fascist media is to a large extent completely omitting or as usual framing it in the typical “protesters clash with police” in a two-minute segment completely devoid of any real, meaningful context.
