At the 2021 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Ford unveiled the F-100 Eluminator concept truck, an electromod restoration of a 1978 F-100 repowered with the electric vehicle drivetrain and front and rear suspension subframes taken from the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition.
But it would not exactly be reasonably priced...

This happens every god damn year with Android smartphones. Phone nerds swear up and down that if someone makes a compact phone with a 3.5mm audio jack and a thick battery they'll buy it.
Every few years some manufacturer or another will fall for it and actually release that phone. Then the phone nerds cry about how it doesn't have an unlocked bootloader or the screen isn't the aspect ratio they want and sales will fucking suck.
