A decade ago I was living in an apartment and my family took in a stray cat that lived under our stairs. Over the next few years living inside, that cat went from being half-starved and terrified to fat and happy, if still very timid and skittish. One day the door was open and she walked out onto the porch, looked around and realized where she was, and did a fucking backflip to turn around and run back inside and hide as fast as possible.
There is absolutely no way anyone can convince me it's healthy and good for a cat to live outside, and indoor cats that enjoy going outside are literally just this song.
