I think a lot of americans on here are way too dismissive of, like say, britain and france, considering their working class is way more powerful and organized relative to their states. Seems like cope sometimes

The old world is just a place where vacations happen, it isn't real.

yh classic dialectical paradox i guess where it would be specially impactful but also for the same reason is very difficult to radicalize people properly

honestly also makes me genuinely think that if the hard left actually does ever take power in a place like america its gonna unironically be a bloodbath for its enemies

also American's have no right to hate the British or French for the actions of their nation especially as they do not allow that logic to be applied in reverse

also terfism would never have gained the hold it has in Britian without American money astroturfing it

Tbh it's more the thing of people being edgy about their hatred for a country and then wishing it 'sinks into the sea under cloud of nuclear hellfire', come what may for its working class. Tbh it also sometimes devolves into people literally stating that these working classes are brought their situations on themselves, which I think is a really vile pov and that anyone who says that should be ashamed. It's especially incredible coming from the keyboards of yanks. But yh some yanks are frequently showing that they don't know much of anything about the working classes of these countries; all they've got is a vague idea of 'labour aristrocracy'.

I don't know, I live in Germany and while nowadays even here some union activity happens, the benefit to the left is minimal and both radical and radlib orgs don't really see any growth. The fash do.

Are there more potential leftists that simply do not trust in any current political organization and thus just withdraw from caring about politics in the bourgeois state, while not trusting the revolutionary left or are the fash absorbing these people like a sponge?

It's probably the latter, but at this point I just don't know and doomer about the world we live in and life in general.
