Something about knowing that people out there find this kind of content compelling is so depressing it feels me with utter dread. Like to add insult to injury of course the person reacting to the video essay is gonna be constantly pausing throughout it so it should take at LEAST twice as long to finish the video.

So… if someone is reacting to THAT reaction it’s gonna take like 8 hours to get to the end of the video like jesus christ WHAT on earth are you people doing.

    I honestly like those videos, they’re very thorough but also have lots of outside context and background and stuff, it’s great background noise that is interesting enough

    Mauler is a fucking loser who should be walled, though. But He’s not wrong about those movies imo

    The work I do leaves me with the ability to listen to things, but not things I have to give full attention to. So an infinite video about star wars (or a 30 hour Skyrim retrospective for example) is something I can listen to without needing to catch every narrative thrust or moment

    Jenny Nicholson is the best tho
