You're not SUPPOSED to, but if you happen to be so good in bed that it completely changes someone's world view then at that point idk just do it once so you can brag about it?

I agree, but we don't know if the OP's friend only found out she was trans after her clothes were off.

How can a cis man be a TERF? TERF isn't a synonym for transphobe, it's a specific ideology that believes:

    1. Trans women are men who want to invade women's spaces to have sex with lesbians
    2. Trans men are just confused lesbians
    3. All (cis) men are irredeemable sex monsters.

Obviously all TERFs are transphobes, but not all transphobes are TERFs

The way its currently used online, TERF does just mean transphobe. The acutal kind of radical feminist that TERF originally described is very uncommon now, and people didn't have a short and memorable insult for transphobes so TERF was gradually adopted. So now people are calling Graham Linehan a TERF even though he is a misogynistic man.

Plus, transphobes fucking hate it when you call them TERFs.

I think alot of people including myself didn’t know about the third proposition. most people take TERF as a feminist who excludes trans people.

I think TERF has become a general term for anti-trans, losing its specific denotation as "trans exclusionary radical feminist" and drifting towards a connotation of "trans exclusionary woke person" - possibly even drifting past that to "anti-trans" in general.

So he's an incel who was transphobic but otherwise a radical feminist?

Doubt it. I bet his opinions on women's lib are very bad.

Terfs aren't feminists either 99% of the time. They appropriate the word feminist but all they do is be transphobic and push back against the rights of trans people. They are anti-trans activists. The word is just the popularly known one but it doesn't describe them accurately at all. FART does though, Feminist Appropriating Reactionary Transphobe.

I really hate how commonly the word terf is used when the person in question is just a regular douchebag. These people aren't reading Dworkin in between bouts of transphobic mouth-diarrhea.
