    In the 80s, Christians went to court because they viewed protecting those crossing the border as part of the exercise of their religion. It was very dope.

    I'm reading through No Shortcuts and it kinda touches upon this. Organizing through churches is WAY simpler than organizing a workforce due to differing legal requirements. In terms of long term organizing and building, incorporating religious orgs should absolutely be a strategy.

        where the farmers and refiner's do what though? unless you meant with? why did they need presbeteryians in order to form a coop? did your mom's church provide the starting capital or something?
