Pre-hosted nominations get extra weight becuase its less work. Dubs preferred over subs because Cytube is indignent about playing subtitle files without heavy cajoling. If it’s currently in theaters or on a streaming service its usually an pain in the ass to find a good torrent in time, but ill look for it anyways because fuck copyright.

The Handmaiden (2018) - Extremely critically-acclaimed Korean drama/thriller by Park Chan-wook (Oldboy) set in the 1930s during the Japanese occupation. People who love Parasite tend also to love this. Currently rated #37 of all time on Letterboxd:

The Florida Project (2019) - A recent entry into the Leftist Film Canon that we somehow haven't watched yet. God Damn America: The Movie.
Under the Skin (2013) - Scarlett Johanssen plays a shapeshifting alien who annihilates men with the power of woog.
Mixed feeling about this movie. I saw this in the dollar theater when it dropped and smoked 2 blunts over the course of the movie by myself. Its got powered exoskeletons, alien time-jizz, and a man getting hit by a truck repeatedly as a slapstick gag, but i cannot remember a single line of dialogue.
Ive got it sourced and hosted, no worries. I just never got to complain about it before.

Manhunter (1986) - Michael Mann adapts the first Hannibal Lector story 5 years before Silence of the Lambs comes out.

Beautiful film, especially in HD widescreen. It's got Logan Roy playing Hannibal Lector.
Fist of Fury (1972) - A famous Bruce Lee martial arts movie. Also one of Mao Zedong's favorite movies. When seeing it for the first time, he reportedly burst into tears and said "Bruce Lee is a hero!" Can't get a stronger recommendation than that.
Dracula (1931) - The Universal classic with Bela Lugosi. An essential watch for fans of horror.
Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019) - Perhaps the most highly-regarded sapphic film of the century. #24 of all time on Letterboxd.
