        It's any vendor in the state system who claims more than $1000 through the state.

        He only got pinged because he gave a speech at a state college and are now refusing to pay him, and saying if he does get the money he could be arrested for doing business while not pledging to not boycott Israel.

            Yes, but remember, this is America. That means every tiny facet of the government is run like a business and set up to compete with each other. The school didn't care, they just wanted a speaker. Then the billing department flagged the payment and rejected it because their servers have now been configured to reject payment to anyone who didn't check that box.

      Schumer said that this will he the first bill that the US Senate passes once Dems took control in 2019. We again got "saved" be the fact that Republicans usually refuse to work with Democrats even when it comes to issues that they agree with. Anyway, a whole bunch of states have such laws. At least 15.
