I'll start with one that doesn't seem directly related but correlates so closely that I can't help seeing the "tell" as a warning: putting "kappa" in a sentence like a punctuation mark. I've never seen an online conversation that started with that tell and didn't wander into final solutions and 14 words if it went on long enough. I know it's a :freeze-gamer: thing but it's not like there isn't already a wide overlap between :freeze-gamer: and :frothingfash: .

    Anime PFP

This often seems to be a coin toss between comrade and chud, and the sharp divide is weird.

Rule of thumb for anime pfp's:

Character in pfp is trans/gay (basically :stfu-terf: ) = Comrade

Character in pfp is cute girl (especially K-On! or Girls und Panzer) = Nazi

Some chud culture warriors sometimes take a trans character (Bridget being the most recent and high profile example), go :awooga: with the avatar, and then deliberately misgender the character as if that'll magically make the trans identity go away.

Right but that makes them really obvious. In terms of dogwhistling only terminally online people would know that a K-On! pfp means Nazi lol.

We really can't let them claim cool things without a fight.

But also identifying with BtR kinda undermines a lot of their self-identities right?

I feel more chuds use the pedo bait anime girls or the one nazi magical girl character
