    Two things I've experienced irl.

    1. The phrase attack helicopter

    2. Worried about "increasing crime rates"

As I get older, I'm seeing the second one a lot more

      Worried about “increasing crime rates”

Any yet, never worried enough to do anything about all those mass shootings.

It's really weird. I live abroad now, and I know someone from the UK (older than me) who just watches videos of people in the US apparently just walking in and stealing things from stores because nobody is following the law anymore.

A family member (older than me) describes the well off suburb we grew up in as a mad max warzone that is essentially parallel to what the UK guy described.

When I ask people my age who are still living there, they have no idea what I'm talking about and say it's the same as it's always been.

These people are plugged in to some freakish media.

        campaign as TOUGH ON CRIME
        get elected
immediately remove all street patrols, legislate to make wage theft a felony and divert all resources to arresting any cappie reported on wage theft tip line
workers' lives have never been better
get assasinated by a hog for being too tough on crime because it started affecting whites

Boomers watching the local news 5 times a day thinking they’re being informed but not realizing they’re just listening to the cops all day
