    I've seen marathons where they handed out chocolate milk instead of electrolyte drink at the end. There was a (probably dairy funded) study arguing that chocolate milk was a better post workout drink than Gatorade because. Turns out it was because it had carbs and your body needs carbs after a marathon. Anyways, a little later they came out with "post workout" Gatorade, with extra carbs in it, so now everyone's a winner.
