If it's really a hilarious joke, won't people laugh even if they don't like you, so why does he mention it? :thonk:

something deeply sickening about someone operating their thoughts and feelings in deference to a 'better man' who exists solely in their head.

it is less bother for others than if he were an active sexpest but ive nothing but disgust for such a base, pathetic creature.

always another man too, isn't it? a woman's not just too good for you on her own it's a violation of some man's future patrimony

It's really creepy. Like, when weird patriarchal, hierarchies have become so natural to you that you submit to them even inside your own head.

Not the most sexist, but very on-brand for the specific condescending flavor reddit is known for.

It feels less condescending even than just sad. Guy isn't even doing the "how dare that hateful succubus smile at me! she's trying to get me horny as part of an elaborate deception to ruin my life!" routine I see so often online.

He's just so fixated on appearance and sex that he can't relate to another person outside that framework if he likes her too much.

your posts are as pedantic and reddit as the screencap nerd

:shrug-outta-hecks: When everyone sounds like a Redditor, that might be more a you problem.

He started off with the phrase "frumpty old hoe" and went on to pathologise (idk what this word means) men and women. Not exactly a shining feminist
