    This is the one that broke me.

    I honestly mean it. This nation is so cruel. The people so hateful. How could we be anything better?

    It’s been weeks and I can’t get out of the rut this lynching and the poplar reaction to it have created In my soul.

      If you want to look at the bright side, not saying you should but if you want to, I think things like this are not exactly accurate as a representation of a "popular movement" per se, simply because this online donation stuff tend to be dominated by big whale donations and many small token donations.

      The article mentions 40k donations so about $50 average which I believe is not trivial to throw away just based on ideology.

      So yeah maybe this is really just capturing the most :frothingfash: of part of the audience. I know probably stupid and meaningless so yeah it sucks.

        I heard about it from most relatives, a few friends. I assume it’s basic conservative talking points now.
