The problem is they only ever set off a single firework. A single giant fucking firework. So I can't tell which neighbor does it, it could be one of like 5 houses. And I live in a rougher neighborhood and I cannot imagine some skinny looking white dude awkwardly knocking on doors asking them to stop is going to produce anything. Plus I'm sure they know they're being dipshits, I cannot imagine they would stop if asked. And fuck calling police.
im in seattle and there are rumors that chuds or government bad men are going around in predominately black neighborhoods (like mine) and setting them off to "condition" people. but that sounds super stupid.
Go ask them to stop.
Or get some of your own, louder fireworks. And set them off when they go to bed at 2am.
