Interesting how these reports only come from the US and are sourced by intelligence agencies

It’s classified military equipment and has always been classified military equipment

Yeah there's no way that any of this news about "intact" or partially intact non-humanoid crafts is real. If it WERE real then the news would basically have no impact on society at large, seeing as how we've had this stuff for decades and nothing has really come of it. It would suggest that no contact was made and we're just sifting through the junk of alien civilizations with nothing to show for it.

Feels like every year we get these little blowout stories about UFOs then they just fizzle away after a news cycle. Case in point the release of that navy footage from last year or the year before I forget.

    Aliens are real but:

Are 99% likely to not have space travel and just be random microscopic life or animal-like creatures not little green men with technology.

    Or

Sapient, technologically advanced aliens exist but live too far away to communicate or travel to us.

    Or

Interstellar/galactic space travel is impossible and impractical and it doesn't matter how advanced your technology is, there simply aren't the resources or energy available to do it.

Was always a fan of the “if interstellar/intergalactic travel is possible and practical by some undiscovered method, the users would be so beyond earth technologically and societally that they wouldn’t care to fuck with us” theory.

Personally prefer to think any aliens who got that far would be full falgsc as but any speculation is gonna be human centric anyway :shrug-outta-hecks:

Yeah, they'd have to. If they were at all quarrelsome having the ability to build nukes that go at the speed of light means they would blow themselves up long before they could be a threat to us.

      What about those multidimensional theories?

I always feel like those could potentially solve the Fermi Paradox question of "Where are all the aliens?" Well, if there's another / higher dimension / plane of reality, then surely all the more advanced aliens are hanging out there?

I read that the TicTac / cigars / UAPs move like a mouse cursor across a screen. That description always makes me think of that.

Given that it is definitely bullshit, the more interesting question is why they are making these claims.

height of human narcissism to think aliens would be remotely interested in this shithole except for "gawking at a car accident" kind of way

I'd argue it's the height of some kind of thing that anyone wouldn't be interested in finding people. There aren't a lot of places life of any kind can survive, let alone places with people.

if i was an alien i think i would be interested. not impressed lol, but interested. i'd wanna help, for starters.

then again its hard to even speculate what aliens would be like, since they'd have the tech to alter their own brains, and the more they altered them the more their priorities would shift, changing the course of subsequent alterations, so they might end up super weird and unlike how they started

It looks like it's just one guy saying the pentagon has alien spacecraft or something. I'm guessing the news will report that there's a guy saying that the pentagon has alien spacecraft, and then the story will go away because no they don't.
