People who subscribe to a really positive masculinity recommend it full throatedly on TikTok so I picked it up for it's non-violence stance.
I think it's an important show for anyone who needs a good example to follow. I hope that many young men watch it and get good impressions. Also it's refreshing in that it has a really good message and goes full throttle with it. It's the opposite of the usual violence media nihilism.
You should watch Kaiji.
It is a show about a dirtbag with gambling debts being forced to play rock-paper-scissors-poker to escape the femur-breaker machine.
Is it good? I heard it has some kinda traumatic events similar to Berserk in it. I just can't watch strong depictions of that sort of thing.
It's pretty good but it is quite heavy. I wouldn't recommend if you have difficulty with more traumatic story lines.
