Asking your boss a specific question about a technical/process/organizational roadblock or dysfunction.

"Just get stuff done already, are you an idiot or something?"

    :agony-deep:

The 2 rules for Plumbers are actually just prole wisdom.

    Shit flows down hill.

    Your boss is an asshole.

“Learn how to get stuff done” :obama-spike:

“Very well, let’s begin the protracted people’s insurrection” :meow-shining:

    “No not like that” :obama-drone:

NGL, the brown-noses with the NFT pfps and other investing garbage do seem pretty happy.

I know it's from being lumpen, but I still envy the lumpen state.

"When asked by a reporter for some concrete steps one could follow to get stuff done, Mr. Obama fixed the man with a stare reminiscent of a snake sizing up potential prey and replied 'Double tap.'"

Doing things like bombing children's hospitals and bombing a teenage US citizen at a cafe in Jordan, also killing his cousin he was eating lunch with and like 7 bystanders

In fairness, Obama didn't do that. He just told other people to do it for him.

being an indispensable employee doesn't do shit for the employee. some of the most put upon and exploited MF's in the places i've worked are the most critical. it's the bullshitters, kiss asses, and careerist manipulators who skate to the cake while the "essential" workers get crumbs and limited institutional power.

Becoming indispensable in a given role is also a good way to not be promoted

The Peter Principle suggests the opposite. Managers and metrics reward competence with promotions, so you'll drift upward until you hit your point of incompetence. Then you'll languish there until you're fired.
