Or is it just going to be like the site name where mods just do it without asking anyone?

(Maybe it's clear by the question but I also don't really understand how all this works)

    The site originally did the whole voting thing for most of the first year, but I recall it being deemed too vulnerable to fuckery and more trouble than it was worth. Maybe it'd be okay if we had some way of ensuring the only people who can vote are those who have been posting here long enough that we can reliably for the most part assume they aren't wreckers.

      To be eligible to vote, you must write a 1000 word essay describing a past struggle session of your choice and what the objectively correct take on it is.

      I like the idea of devolved democracy, but I also recognize that democratic centralism/having a clique of mean girls run things has certain advantages in a wartime situation.

      Unironically starting the Hexbears Party to own the libs.

      That could work, though. Like put together some kind of actual party structure thing that is selective about membership so we can protect the site culture while still engaging in intellectual combat with our "respected liberal peers."
