Thesis: Cars contribute to noise pollution which takes year out of people's lives, so they should be more quiet.

Antithesis: Cars that are silent lead to more pedestrian accidents because pedestrians no longer have an audio warning that a car is nearby.

Synthesis: Cars are a menace to public safety and should be gotten rid of.
