I remember when Cuba implemented the most progressive family code in existence last year and legalized gay marriage (among other things), and patsocs on Twitter were seething and saying that Cuba has now fallen to liberalism :che-laugh:

Really further proves the theory that patsocs are just former band kids who never got past the “Stalin killed 500 trillion people and that’s a good thing” phase

Yeah, so 'standard' that not only has Cuba gone far beyond anything in these so called 'developed countries', but some of these countries are also actively regressing in this area while libs look on and do nothing :liberalism: :maybe-later-honey: :maybe-later-kiddo: :vote:

Thats the better part of it, boomer commies here started saying that they passed the family code to make child trafficking easier.

It makes me sad that boomer leftists have a tendency to have their own unique set of :brainworms: involving anything queer related.

Even on it’s worst day, Cuba is a better country than the United States will ever fucking be.

:very-intelligent: oh is that a black man? A GAY black man? Don’t you know Cuban communists hate gays and blacks? Of course, liberalism and capitalism have always accepted minorities and have no dark history - especially in the 50s! - unlike communism which cannot progress with new views and reconcile with its past.

And no, you dumb stupid tankie. We will not include non straight and non binary people into the constitution. Cuba only did it out of cynicism. We’re not going to do it at all because…. Progress! That, and while we do see you and we do hear you, you simply are not important enough to modify the Holy Constitution of the United States (PBUH)

Idk, I heard that kind of art design is supposed to be bourgeois decadence and money laundering.

Ok, I don't want to be weird here (I'm asking permission to be weird here), but can we talk about how damn chiseled the guy in the lower left corner is? Like, what is that face, buddy, are you made out of granite? :panting:

chiseled by the finest socialist realism sculptors in the days of yore, given life by the fervour of the revolution. now he walks among all cuban pride parades and everyone wants to know. who. is. that. person.

It's strange that this is so hard for some leftists to grasp. The mere mention of trans rights will have some people contorting themselves to explain that actually, idpol is liberalism and we shouldn't talk about it because it's a distraction from class struggle.

I wanna swing through someday. I wonder if Gramsci is popular reading in the area?
