More like the CEO couldn't find any 50-year-old white men willing to command it, because every single submarine expert took one look at the metal tube and immediately knew it was a death trap.

Yeah, it was totally for wokeness, and not that the '50 year old while men who knew how to command submarines' wouldn't allow themselves to be coerced and exploited in the same the way that hungry 25 year olds will.

Ignoring safety regulations and bragging about it is woke fellas. REAL men understand that safety regulations exist for a reason and listen to their engineers.

without seeing a contradicting primary source, I 100% assume this was actually to save on labor expenses. Anything """woke""" is probably PR bullshit for the real reason.

I'm so tired of right-wingers, man. How are you supposed to talk to people who think and talk like this? Like yeah, whatever, the submarine sunk because the CEO was too woke. Sure. Netflix is going bankrupt because they're casting too many minorities. Video games suck now because woke corporations only care about having 2 men kissing and not about good gameplay. I'm so tired of this rhetoric. I can't even bring myself to type "debunking" stuff because what's the fucking point, I might as well talk to my labrador retriever and she'd be just as receptive.

You could literally show up with Jesus Christ in person backing up your argument and a right-winger would still believe the submarine sunk because of wokeness because some guy on Telegram named "Dr Balthazaar McNumberwang" said so.

Edit: It's so frustrating because like, in order to believe these arguments, you have to just not be particularly curious or interested in truth in the first place. You have to be someone who doesn't think too much about stuff, otherwise you'd immediately notice the inconsistencies. So what even is there to say? How can someone be convinced who doesn't care what is real? Who willfully rejects reality in favor of narrative?

This stuff is genuinely so depressing to me. These people are trying to collectively ignore reality into submission. If we just all agree the submarine sank because the CEO was too woke, if we just all agree that climate change isn't real, if we just all agree that being gay is a choice, then no amount of "evidence" can hurt us. Reality is what we say it is, and with enough of us in positions of institutional power, we can effectively impose our reality upon everyone else.

They'd probably hate almost everything Jesus would preach, then call him a slur for being brown.

Didn't someone earlier today on this website predict some chud would blame the sub sinking on "wokeness"?

I think in reality the ceo wanted to hire novices that would be far less likely to push back and actually know more than him.

So....what's Elon Musk's excuse for Twitter being unusable? Why doesn't he use his magical white man powers to magically make everything run really, really well?
